Star Wars Battlefront, created by EA, is a new up and coming game in the market that has a lot of hype behind it. Star Wars: The Force Awakens will be coming in a galaxy near you this Christmas around December 18th. Even though Star Wars has a huge fan base and is loved by many, it might not be as popular amongst the future generations!

Star Wars Battlefront has a variety of multiplayer game modes. Some of these include Heroes Vs. Villains, and Hero Hunt. The difference between Hero Hunt and Heroes Vs. Villains, is that Hero hunt is when there is only one hero/villain on either side. In Hero Hunt your goal is to kill the enemies’ team hero or villain to claim victory. And Heroes Vs. Villains is when there is all 3 of the hero/villain and they have to remain standing to win the game. When the enemy team kills all of your heroes/villains or you kill theirs you win/lose. Even though its predecessors in the early 2000s had short campaigns, this one does not.

There is one more game mode to be included in the full fledged game, which is called Survival. This game mode includes a variety of missions that you could play by yourself or with friends. The first mission is on the planet of Tatooine. The plot of these missions are that you crash land onto the planet, then have to survive through a mass amount of stormtroopers, AT STs, and Walkers till you get saved and brought back home.

This game is sure to be scooped up by a mass amount of people. Star Wars Battlefront is $40 for the standard edition, and it is $50 for the deluxe edition. The deluxe edition includes the season pass. Be sure to pick it up today! There is a catch as well, this game is only available on PC/Mac and next generation consoles(PS4/Xbox One). This game will allow you to play as your childhood fantasy characters such as Luke Skywalker and even Darth Vader. Even though it is pretty much bare bone right now, EA will be able to add more to it in the future.
