Best to worst video streaming services

Best+to+worst+video+streaming+services

Nowadays, there are a lot of different streaming services ranging from various prices. This poses the question of which one will get you the best bang for your buck or is even worth your time.

Disney+

Disney Plus is the best streaming service because it has everything that Disney owns, such as Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, and National Geographic. This allows for everyone to find something they like to watch because of the variety of shows and movies, all for the price of $6.99 per month. If that isn’t enough for a person, they can upgrade to the premium for $12.99 a month which includes the basic subscription to Hulu and to ESPN+.

Disney Plus also allows for streaming on four devices at once and downloads on ten devices. This app is compatible with almost every device, which includes, but is not limited to, Amazon Fire TV, Android TV, AppleTV, Chromebooks, Windows PC, all iPhones and iPads, PS4, and Xbox One. This allows for a ton of flexibility with the amount of people that can watch things on one account.

Amazon Prime Video
Amazon Prime Video is the second best streaming service because there are a lot of older TV shows, movies that are hard to find, new shows with ads, and original shows and movies. The Prime Video app is included in the Amazon Prime subscription along with Prime Music and many others, which is $12.99 a month or $119 a year, and a college student can get the subscription for half the price.

Hulu
Hulu comes in the middle of the ranks in streaming services because there are many different types of shows- some that are older and some that have new episodes every week. The downside is that some of the content is locked and some shows have ads, if you pay $5.99 per month for the basic subscription. If you pay $11.99 a month for the premium subscription, you can view all of the exclusive content on Hulu.

Netflix
Netflix comes in second to last because of the price and the limited content that is on the app. There are three different subscriptions. The only difference between the subscriptions is the amount of devices that can stream at once: basic at $8.99 a month, which only allows for one screen to stream at a time, or standard at $12.99 a month and allows for two screens, or premium at $15.99 per month, which allows for four screens. There’s a very limited amount of content on the app that vary from country to country and most of the content is on there for only four to five months.

Starz and HBO
Starz and HBO ties for last place because of the limited amount of content and the outrageous flat prices. Starz goes for $8.99 a month and HBO goes for $14.99 a month. Starz has a limited amount of movies that change month to month and HBO has a few shows that also constantly change. A person would have to want to watch those movies or shows for either app to be worth their money.
