Oxnard, California — At least two people were killed and five others were injured Friday after a violent seven-vehicle crash sent mangled cars, debris and damaged infrastructure across a roadway in Southern California.
The collision happened at approximately 4 p.m. near Victoria and Doris avenues in Oxnard, according to authorities. Emergency crews rushed to the scene and found multiple heavily damaged vehicles scattered across the crash area.
Seven people were identified as victims following the collision. Two were pronounced dead at the scene, while the other five survived with injuries ranging from minor to serious.
