Smyrna, Georgia — A 26-year-old woman who left home to work as a DoorDash driver was reported missing Wednesday, prompting her family to search for her after she suddenly stopped responding to messages. Their search eventually led them to a Smyrna apartment complex, where a witness reportedly saw a man carrying a plastic tub and running away.
Kingston Bradley, 18, was arrested Thursday and charged with concealing a death. Police have not publicly identified the deceased person as Shanteria “Tia” Mosely, but her family told local media that they recognized a tattoo on the torso discovered inside the tub.
The investigation remains ongoing as authorities work to determine what happened to Mosely.
Family Began Searching After She Stopped Responding
Mosely left Wednesday morning to work as a DoorDash driver, according to her family. She later stopped responding to messages, causing relatives to become increasingly concerned.
Michelle Weaver, Mosely’s aunt, told that the family began looking for her themselves. They were able to track Mosely’s phone to the Park Valley Apartments in Smyrna, where Bradley also lives, according to the reporting.
The family first located Mosely’s car at a location associated with the phone’s signal. They then began knocking on apartment doors and searching a nearby wooded area.
During the search, relatives contacted police and an officer came to the area.
Weaver told that she and the family took the officer to the location where Mosely’s phone had last pinged. According to Weaver, the officer then knocked on several apartment doors before leaving the area.
Family Spoke With the Suspect
After the officer left, the family noticed a resident looking out from one of the apartment windows. The man was later identified as Bradley.
Weaver said the family knocked on his door and asked whether he had seen anyone get out of Mosely’s vehicle. According to Weaver, Bradley told them he had not seen anyone leave Mosely’s car.
The family continued searching the area. Not long afterward, Weaver said they saw Bradley outside again carrying what appeared to be a bag or container.
Witness Says Bradley Dropped a Tub and Ran
Weaver described the moment:
“throwing a bag, like something with a cloth. It’s like a bag kind of cloth, like maybe a laundry bag, and it had, like, a container in it. He kind of threw it and he ran.”
According to an arrest warrant obtained by local media, Weaver told police she saw Bradley carrying a plastic tub around 8:15 p.m.
Police later determined that a dismembered woman’s torso was allegedly inside the tub, according to the arrest warrant. Weaver and other family members reportedly noticed a tattoo on the body that they believed belonged to Mosely.

Authorities have not publicly confirmed the identity of the woman whose remains were discovered.
Police Find Blood and Cleaning Supplies
Investigators also searched the apartment where Bradley lived and reportedly found evidence that raised further questions. According to police, there was blood evidence inside the apartment, including a saw that was covered in blood.
Investigators also reportedly noticed a strong smell of bleach inside the residence. Police found a bucket, mop and bottle of carpet cleaner, according to the reports.
The evidence is now part of an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the woman’s death and the events that preceded the discovery.
Bradley Remains in Custody
Bradley was arrested Thursday and charged with concealing a death. He is being held without bond at the Cobb County Adult Detention Center.
He is scheduled to appear in court again on Oct. 7, according to a local news outlet.
At this stage, authorities have not publicly announced a murder charge against Bradley, and police have not officially confirmed that Mosely is the woman whose remains were found.
The investigation is continuing as detectives work to identify the victim and establish what happened before and after Mosely disappeared.
