Clearwater, Florida — Florida is getting four new Spirit Christmas stores this holiday season, bringing the holiday-focused concept from the company behind Spirit Halloween to communities across the state.
The seasonal stores are expected to open in vacant retail spaces in Clearwater, Coral Springs, Jacksonville and Winter Garden, giving shoppers a new destination for Christmas decorations, apparel, stocking stuffers and other holiday merchandise.
While the company has not announced exact opening dates for the Florida locations, one store is expected to open in October, while the other three are scheduled to arrive in November.
Where Will Spirit Christmas Stores Open in Florida?
According to the company’s website, the four Florida locations will be spread across different parts of the state. The Clearwater store will be located at 2522 McMullen Booth Road, Clearwater, FL 33761.
In South Florida, the Coral Springs location will open at 725 N. University Drive, Coral Springs, FL 33071.
Jacksonville will get a location at 6000 Lake Gray Boulevard, Suite XD, Jacksonville, FL 32244. The fourth store will be located in Winter Garden, at 3049 Daniels Road, Suite 220C, Winter Garden, FL 34787.
The expansion means shoppers in four Florida communities will have the opportunity to experience the temporary holiday retail concept during the upcoming Christmas season.
When Will the Florida Stores Open?
There are currently no official opening dates listed for the four Florida locations. However, the expected opening schedule gives shoppers an idea of when the stores could begin welcoming customers.
The Winter Garden location is slated to open in October, giving shoppers in the area an early opportunity to start browsing holiday merchandise.
The stores in Clearwater, Coral Springs and Jacksonville are expected to open in November. Because these are seasonal retail locations, opening dates could vary by store depending on preparations at each property.
What Is Spirit Christmas?
Spirit Christmas is a relatively new concept from Spencer Gifts, the company behind Spirit Halloween.
The company launched the Spirit Christmas concept in 2024, using a model similar to the one that made Spirit Halloween a familiar part of the seasonal retail landscape.
Rather than operating year-round, Spirit Christmas temporarily moves into vacant retail spaces and transforms them into holiday shopping destinations.
The approach allows shoppers to visit a dedicated seasonal store without the retailer maintaining a permanent location throughout the year.

What Will Shoppers Find Inside?
The stores are designed around the Christmas season, with merchandise focused on holiday shopping and decorating. Customers can expect to find Christmas decorations, holiday apparel, stocking stuffers and other seasonal products.
The concept also gives shoppers an opportunity to experience a temporary holiday-themed retail environment rather than simply visiting a traditional department or discount store.
Some locations will offer additional holiday experiences as well.
According to the company, Santa will be available to meet customers at some Spirit Christmas stores, although availability and schedules can vary by location.
Florida Locations Could Bring a New Holiday Tradition
The arrival of four Spirit Christmas stores gives Florida shoppers another seasonal option heading into the holidays.
For residents of Clearwater, Coral Springs, Jacksonville and Winter Garden, the temporary stores could become a convenient place to shop for decorations, gifts and other Christmas items once they open.
With Winter Garden expected to open first in October and the remaining locations planned for November, shoppers will soon begin seeing the seasonal transformation of the vacant retail spaces.
