Former Trump associate Lev Parnas has issued a stark warning following what he claims is a major political blow to Donald Trump—one that could provoke a fierce reaction from the former president.
In a piece published Sunday, Parnas reacted to Elon Musk’s announcement of a new political party, The American Party, which Musk reportedly plans to fund himself. According to Parnas, this move strikes at the heart of Trump’s MAGA base and threatens to fracture the Republican Party.
“This is the worst thing Donald Trump could have imagined,” Parnas wrote. “My sources are telling me that Trump’s retaliation will be ferocious.”
Parnas, who once worked closely with Trump allies and claims insight into his decision-making, described signs of growing unrest within the GOP:
“There are cracks forming… Inside the Republican Party. Inside MAGA itself,” he said, citing GOP members like Don Bacon, Brian Fitzpatrick, Tom Tillis, and Thomas Massie who he says are beginning to speak out.
He added that Trump is already reacting aggressively—allegedly threatening to “primary” dissenting Republicans, “deport” Musk, and silence critical voices like his own.
“Donald Trump knows it. That’s why he’s lashing out harder than ever,” Parnas wrote. “He’s threatening democracy itself.”
Parnas ended with a warning to readers:
