Brigadier General Chandler Atwood of Peterson Space Force Base Passes Away

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (PETERSON SPACE FORCE BASE) — The Space Operations Command has announced the passing of Brigadier General Chandler Atwood, affectionately known by his call sign “Fulcrum,” on Sunday, June 29.

Atwood had been an integral part of Space Operations Command since its creation in 2020. His distinguished service included key roles with Space Delta 7, serving as S2, and acting as Field Command Deputy Commander.

“Fulcrum led with grace, mission focus, and commitment to this team. Space Operations Command will carry on that tradition moving forward as we carry on his legacy,” the command said in a heartfelt statement.
