PUEBLO, Colo. — Police are investigating a suspicious death after a woman was found dead near I-25 on Sunday, June 29.
Officers responded around noon to the area of Pine Street and Nevada Avenue, just west of the interstate, where they discovered an injured woman. Authorities say she was pronounced dead at the scene and appeared to have suffered a possible gunshot wound.
The investigation is ongoing, and no suspects have been identified at this time.
