COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) has announced overnight paving operations scheduled from Aug. 24 through Aug. 28 at the intersection of CO Highway 21 (Powers Boulevard) and Milton E. Proby Parkway.
According to CDOT, crews will remove existing asphalt and lay a new asphalt overlay to enhance smoothness and safety for drivers.
Traffic Impacts
From Aug. 24 to Aug. 28:

6 p.m. – 5 a.m. → CO 21 (Powers Boulevard) will be reduced to a single lane in both directions between mile point 137 (north of Grinnell Boulevard) and mile point 138 (north of Milton E. Proby Parkway).

7 p.m. – 4 a.m. → Milton E. Proby Parkway will be closed to east- and westbound traffic between Hancock Expressway and Peak Innovation Loop.
Detour Routes
For Northbound CO 21 Access:
Peak Innovation Parkway → Integration Loop → Grinnell Boulevard → Bradley Road → Hancock Expressway → Chelton Road → Hancock Expressway → CO 21.
For Southbound CO 21 Access:
Peak Innovation Parkway → Integration Loop → Grinnell Boulevard → CO 21.
For Westbound Milton E. Proby Parkway (west of Hancock Expressway):
Peak Innovation Parkway → Integration Loop → Grinnell Boulevard → Bradley Road → Hancock Expressway → Milton E. Proby Parkway.
For Eastbound Milton E. Proby Parkway (east of Peak Innovation Parkway):
Hancock Expressway → Bradley Road → Grinnell Boulevard → Integration Loop → Peak Innovation Parkway → Milton E. Proby Parkway.
