A fatal crash involving three vehicles on Interstate 40 early Sunday morning left one man dead and two others injured, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol (OHP).
The collision happened around 1:35 a.m. near mile marker 317 in the westbound lanes of I-40, close to Muldrow.
Troopers say Cambre L. Wright, 20, of Sallisaw, was arrested on aggravated DUI charges. She was not injured in the crash.
One of the vehicles was driven by 66-year-old Linda A. Mager of Fruitland Park, Florida. Her passenger, 69-year-old John H. Beahn, also from Fruitland Park, died despite emergency life-saving efforts. Mager was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.
The second vehicle involved was driven by 30-year-old Natalie J. Finley of Oklahoma City, who was not hurt.
OHP continues to investigate the cause and details of the crash.
