COLORADO SPRINGS — Two people were injured in a shooting early Sunday morning near the Citadel Mall, according to the Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD).
Officers responded to reports of gunfire around 2 a.m. on July 27 at a business in the 3600 block of Citadel Drive North. One victim was found at the scene, while a second showed up later at a local hospital. Both individuals are expected to recover.
Witnesses told police that multiple fights had broken out in the area shortly before shots were fired. As of now, no suspects have been identified, and the investigation is ongoing.
