KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Two men were shot and killed Sunday inside a convenience store along the 2200 block of Truman Road in Kansas City, Missouri.
According to police, the suspected shooter remained at the scene and waited for officers to arrive.
Homicide detectives and crime scene investigators are examining the area, collecting evidence, and speaking with nearby residents. Authorities have not yet confirmed the relationship between the suspect and the victims, nor whether any of them worked at the store.
The incident is one of three homicides reported in Kansas City on Sunday. Earlier in the day, another man was fatally shot at an apartment complex in the 1300 block of East 89th Street.
