Obituary Describes Toddler’s Smile and Loving Personality
James’ obituary remembered him as a joyful child whose presence brought happiness to those around him.
It described the toddler as having a “beautiful smile that could brighten any room and a personality much bigger than his little two-year-old body.” The obituary also highlighted the love and happiness he brought to his family from the moment he was born.
“James brought immeasurable joy, laughter, and love into the lives of his family from the moment he entered the world,” the obituary reads. “Though his time with us was far too short, the love he gave and the happiness he brought into our lives will last forever. James was also remembered as a cherished big brother to his younger sister, Evelyn.
According to the family’s fundraising description, the two siblings shared a birthday, two years apart. James had spent four months with his baby sister before his death.

A GoFundMe campaign established by the family to help cover memorial expenses offered further insight into the toddler’s personality and the everyday moments that made him special.
“He was our beautiful little boy—curious, energetic, playful, affectionate, and so deeply loved,” the GoFundMe description reads.
