STATEWIDE, Colo. (KRDO) – The Colorado State Patrol (CSP) is mourning the loss of one of its beloved retired K9s, Sandy, a yellow Labrador Retriever who faithfully served the agency for a decade.
Sandy joined CSP in 2014 and served until her retirement in 2023. After retiring, she spent her remaining days enjoying a peaceful life with her handler.
In a heartfelt tribute, CSP shared,
“Sandy made Colorado safer, and for that, we are grateful for her loyal service and lasting contributions to our community. Thank you for your unwavering support and dedication to the people of Colorado. Rest easy, Sandy.”
