ICE Nabs Over 32,800 Illegal Immigrants in Trump’s First 100 Days, Including 39 Terror Suspects

The Trump administration revealed that U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) arrested more than 32,800 illegal immigrants during President Donald Trump’s first 100 days back in office. The arrests include over 1,150 suspected gang members and 39 individuals identified as known or suspected terrorists.

ICE data shows that 14,111 of those arrested had previous criminal convictions, while 9,980 are facing pending charges. The number of terror-related arrests jumped significantly compared to the 14 recorded during the same period in 2024.

Former FBI special agent Jonathan Gilliam told Fox News Digital the crackdown is already making a noticeable impact on community safety.

“As these arrests happen, crime will go down,” Gilliam said. “It’s no longer a free pass for illegal immigrants. The streets are already feeling the difference.”

He credited border czar Tom Homan and Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem for their targeted and efficient strategy, focusing on the most dangerous individuals.

“They’re building strong cases and acting quickly. While going after high-risk offenders, ICE is also deporting others who may not be violent but are still here illegally,” he added.

High-Profile Arrests

One notable arrest was that of Keycy Robinson Alexi Barrera-Rosa, 24, now facing murder charges in Maryland after his girlfriend, Lesbia Mileth Ramirez Guerra, was discovered buried in a wooded area near Cedarville State Forest. Barrera-Rosa had reported her missing on April 2 and was arrested by ICE three days later.

Operation “Tidal Wave”

ICE’s Miami division spearheaded a coordinated operation that led to the arrest of nearly 800 illegal immigrants. Key arrests included:

  • An alleged MS-13 gang member with three previous illegal entries

  • A Colombian national convicted of murder

  • A Russian national wanted for manslaughter under an Interpol Red Notice

  • Members of the violent 18th Street gang

Among them was Rafael Juarez Cabrera, a Guatemalan national and suspected MS-13 member, who had reentered the U.S. illegally three times and had a felony conviction for illegal reentry.

Judge Faces Backlash

In a separate case, Milwaukee County Circuit Judge Hannah Dugan was charged with obstructing an official proceeding after allegedly helping an illegal immigrant evade ICE. The move sparked strong criticism from federal authorities.

Gilliam stressed the need for accountability.

“Whether it’s judges, government leakers, or former officials who enabled illegal stays, we have to take action,” he said. “Some of them deliberately prolonged stays hoping a future liberal president would legalize these migrants and give them voting rights.”

Trump Administration’s Message

Speaking from the White House, border czar Tom Homan reaffirmed the administration’s firm stance on immigration enforcement and community protection.

Despite ongoing legal challenges and heated national debate, officials say the strategy is working.

“This is about restoring the rule of law,” said Gilliam. “And it’s about protecting American communities — one arrest at a time.”
