A 15-year-old boy is recovering after being shot multiple times overnight in northwest Oklahoma City, according to police.
Officers responded to reports of gunfire near Britton Road and Western Avenue, where they found the teen suffering from several gunshot wounds to his leg.
The victim told police he was running across the street when he was shot but claimed he did not know who fired the shots.
He was taken to the hospital and is expected to survive.
Authorities searched the area overnight for suspects and evidence but no arrests have been made. The investigation remains ongoing.
