King Soopers Reaches Tentative Deal With Union Workers

King Soopers and its union workers have reached a tentative agreement following 46 hours of negotiations between the grocery chain and United Food and Commercial Workers Local 7 (UFCW 7). King Soopers is owned by Kroger.

The deal follows a 12-day strike in February by UFCW Local 7 workers at numerous King Soopers locations across Colorado.

According to a statement from the union, the agreement includes fully funded health care benefits with no cuts, a fully funded pension with additional contributions, and what the union described as strong wage increases.
