A Pueblo man has been charged with manslaughter following the city’s sixth homicide of 2025.
Moses Wagner, 49, was arrested on July 2 after a traffic stop for allegedly driving with a fake license plate and illegal window tint, according to the Pueblo Police Department. During the stop, a Pueblo County sheriff’s deputy took Wagner into custody after learning he was wanted in connection with a homicide that occurred days earlier.
Wagner is accused in the death of 39-year-old Victoria Brandon Delira-Alires, who was found shot and killed on June 29 in the 2400 block of Pine Street. Police responded to a report of an injured woman, and Delira-Alires was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators later determined she was likely not the intended target of the shooting, Pueblo PD spokesperson Bianca Hicks said. Based on evidence gathered in the case, police obtained a warrant for Wagner’s arrest.
Wagner was booked into the Pueblo County Detention Center on a Class 4 felony charge of manslaughter. As of July 3, he remained in jail on a $100,000 cash, surety, or property bond. His first court appearance is scheduled for July 10.
