Semi Rollover Sparks Fire and Hazmat Response on Highway 10, Cleanup Underway

ROCKY FORD, Colo. — The Colorado State Patrol (CSP) closed Highway 10 on Sunday after a semi-truck rollover caused a fire and hazardous materials response.

Emergency Response

The Rocky Ford Fire Department and several other fire agencies responded to the scene. Hazmat teams are also on-site due to the potential risk posed by the lithium batteries.

Fortunately, the driver was not injured in the crash.
