One Arrested in $300K Moore Chop Shop Bust, Police Recover Stolen Trucks, Cadillac & Firearms

MOORE, Okla. — A 31-year-old man is behind bars after police uncovered a large-scale vehicle chop shop operation in Moore, recovering stolen vehicles, firearms, and dismantling tools, officials said.

According to the Moore Police Department, Omar Rangel Alejos was arrested after officers discovered more than $180,000 worth of stolen trucks and a 2025 Cadillac Escalade valued at $115,000, which had not yet been reported stolen.

Massive Haul of Stolen Property

During the bust, officers recovered:

  • Tens of thousands of dollars’ worth of dismantling tools

  • Hundreds of stripped vehicle parts

  • Multiple firearms

  • Key fobs, license plates, and other evidence of a fully operational chop shop

Authorities say the discovery points to a sophisticated theft ring involving high-value vehicles and parts.

Felony Charges Filed

Alejos faces several felony charges, including:

  • Possession of a firearm by a delinquent

  • Aiding or abetting a chop shop operation

  • Four counts of concealing stolen vehicles

He remains in custody at the Cleveland County Jail as the investigation continues.
