CASTLE PINES, Colo. (KKTV/Gray News) – A Colorado man is facing multiple charges after allegedly offering drugs as payment for his meal in a Wendy’s drive-thru.
According to the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were called to the restaurant after the man tried to pay for his order with drugs and showed employees a “white powdery substance resembling cocaine.”
The employee refused the offer, but the man reportedly told them he would “wait if they changed their mind” and then walked inside the restaurant.
Deputies later located his car and, in plain view, saw a “white powdery substance lined out on a cell phone.” During a search of the vehicle, they discovered baggies intended for distribution and a scale.
The man faces several charges, including:

Unlawful distribution, manufacturing, dispensing, sale, or possession

Violation of a protection order

Unlawful possession of controlled substances
His identity has not been released.
“Fast food deals are supposed to come with fries, not felonies,” the sheriff’s office said in a Facebook post.
