Two young boys lost their lives in heartbreaking car accidents over the weekend—one in New Jersey and the other in New York.
In New Jersey, a 13-year-old boy died in a devastating crash while returning home from a campground with his father near the Jersey Shore. His mother shared the emotional final moments, saying, “They did everything, and I was at the foot of his bed just holding his feet and telling him I was there and to fight and fight. I knew there was nothing that was going to bring him back.”
In a separate incident in Brooklyn, 8-year-old Mordechai Keller was struck and killed by an SUV while crossing the street with his older sister. The accident occurred at 5:33 p.m. on Eastern Parkway at Albany Street in Crown Heights, according to police.
Both tragedies have left communities grieving and families shattered.
