Three people were killed in a devastating crash early Sunday morning in Round Rock, Texas.
The accident occurred around 2 a.m. on northbound I-35 near Palm Valley Road and involved three vehicles. According to Round Rock police, three people died at the scene.
One person was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated in connection with the crash.
In an official statement, the Round Rock Police Department said, “The Round Rock Police Department is investigating a fatal crash involving three vehicles that occurred early Sunday morning on I-35. At approximately 2:00 a.m., officers responded to a crash in the 1200 block of northbound I-35, just north of Palm Valley Blvd. Three people are confirmed deceased at this time. One individual has been arrested for Driving While Intoxicated in connection to the incident.”
Both directions of I-35 remain closed as the investigation continues. Drivers are advised to expect delays and use alternate routes. Authorities will release more information once the road reopens.
