Teen Critically Injured in Oklahoma City Hit-and-Run; Police Searching for Suspect Vehicle

OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) — Police are investigating a hit-and-run that left a teenage girl fighting for her life.

Officers were called to a neighborhood near Reno Ave. and Villa Ave. on Aug. 8, according to the Oklahoma City Police Department. When they arrived, they found a teenage girl who had been run over by a pickup truck. She was rushed to the hospital in critical condition.

The driver did not stop after the crash. Investigators say the suspect vehicle is a 2015–2017 Dodge Ram 1500 with purple fog lights in the front and colored taillights. The truck may also have driver’s-side damage to the bed and a missing taillight lens.
