COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) – Authorities have identified the motorcyclist who died in a crash on August 9.
The Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) said officers responded around 6:06 p.m. to North Union Boulevard and Garmish Road, just north of Union and Vickers.
Investigators said the motorcycle collided with an SUV. Medical crews arrived but confirmed the motorcyclist had died.
The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office identified the victim as 20-year-old Spencer Lehmkuhl.
According to CSPD, this marked the 35th traffic-related death in Colorado Springs in 2025, compared to 37 at the same time last year.
