Oklahoma City police arrest second suspect in August 7 homicide

Oklahoma City police have arrested a second suspect linked to the homicide that occurred on August 7, 2025.

24-year-old Nathaniel Brannon was charged with first-degree murder and is being held on a $10 million bond.

Officers responded to a shooting call at approximately 7:34 p.m. that day and found 30-year-old Savon Miller deceased from multiple gunshot wounds.

Earlier, 22-year-old Talor Brannon was arrested after investigators determined he had an altercation with Miller. Officers noted cuts, bruises, and blood on Talor Brannon’s face, hands, and clothing at the time of his arrest.

An eyewitness later identified Nathaniel Brannon in a lineup as the person who fired the gun.
