COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) — A woman is safe after allegedly escaping from a car during a possible attempted kidnapping early Sunday morning.
Police say they were called to a Circle K near Aeroplaza and Jet Wing just before 4:20 a.m., where the woman reported jumping out of the vehicle and running for help.
Investigators are still working to determine exactly what happened and whether it was an attempted kidnapping. A police lieutenant said the incident may have started at a bar, but it’s unclear if the suspect and victim knew each other.
