COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — The Colorado Springs Police Department is investigating the deaths of two people following a reported shooting Sunday afternoon.
The 911 call came in just before 2:30 p.m., with the caller describing a shooting on Sod House Trail, a residential street near Oro Blanco Drive and Barnes Road.
When officers arrived at the home, they found an adult male and an adult female, each with at least one gunshot wound. Police confirmed that all parties involved have been accounted for.
After the initial response, CSPD’s homicide unit took over the case. Investigators are now working to piece together the circumstances surrounding the incident.
