KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A serious crash Sunday evening sent three minors to the hospital and has prompted an investigation by the Kansas City Fire Department.
Crews were called to the scene around 7:37 p.m. near 75th Street and James A. Reed Road. When they arrived, firefighters found a single vehicle severely damaged and off the roadway.
One person was trapped inside, prompting an immediate extrication operation. Emergency responders successfully removed the individual and began medical treatment.
Three minors were injured in the crash, including one in critical condition. All were transported to local hospitals for further care.
