PUEBLO COUNTY, Colo. — Intense storms rolled through Pueblo County late Tuesday afternoon, bringing heavy rain, strong winds, and scattered damage across several neighborhoods before the weather cleared.
The storm knocked down multiple trees, flooded residential streets, and even tossed a trampoline into the middle of a road. Residents captured dramatic footage of rushing water and storm debris, sharing their videos and photos with KRDO13.
One viewer reported a large tree falling onto a home on Thames Drive in Pueblo’s Regency neighborhood. Another photo showed a tree down on Glendora Court.
During the peak of the storm, Randy Sprague spotted a trampoline that had been blown into the street during his drive through the area.
As of 5:13 p.m., Black Hills Energy reported power outages affecting more than 200 customers across Southern Colorado. By 8 p.m., that number had dropped to just 14 as crews worked to restore service.
After a turbulent afternoon, skies eventually cleared, giving residents a chance to begin assessing the damage.
