A 47-year-old woman found unresponsive in her cell at the El Paso County Jail has been identified as Paula Orth, according to the El Paso County Coroner’s Office.
Officials say Orth was discovered around 6:47 p.m. on July 24. While the investigation is still ongoing, initial findings show no signs of self-harm, assault, or foul play.
The coroner’s office will release the official cause and manner of death following further examination.
