COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — A driver was cited for careless driving Saturday night after their vehicle crashed into a house in Colorado Springs.
According to the Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD), the crash happened around 10:25 p.m. in the 2400 block of Sierra Springs Drive. Officers say the driver lost control, plowed through multiple yards, and struck one home several times before coming to a stop.
The Colorado Springs Fire Department (CSFD) assessed the scene and confirmed the home remained structurally sound despite the impact.
While the driver was cited at the scene, CSPD has not confirmed whether speed or alcohol played a role in the incident.
