A driver lost control of their car Saturday night, July 26, crashing through several yards and hitting a house on the south side of Colorado Springs, according to police.
The incident happened around 10:30 p.m. in the 2400 block of Sierra Springs Drive, near South Academy and Astrozon Boulevards. The vehicle tore through multiple properties before striking a house several times and finally coming to a stop.
Officers checked the home and confirmed it remained structurally sound. The driver was cited for careless driving.
