A truck driver riding as a passenger spotted a body floating in the Missouri River on Tuesday, prompting a police investigation.
The Kansas City Police Department received the call shortly after 1:30 p.m. on July 22. The trucker reported seeing the body while traveling northbound on Interstate 435 near Kansas City, Missouri.
Police responded and located the body on the riverbank near the I-435 bridge.
