Pueblo police are asking for the public’s help as they investigate a shooting that left a 13-year-old girl seriously injured on July 14.
Officers responded around 2:50 a.m. to reports of a teenage girl with a gunshot wound in a parking lot near Lake Elizabeth.
According to Pueblo Police Department spokesperson Bianca Hicks, the girl was rushed to a local hospital in life-threatening condition.
As of July 23, Hicks said the girl “may still be in critical condition, but stable.”
Investigators continue to follow multiple leads. Anyone with information is urged to contact Detective Jose Medina at 719-553-3296.
