Pueblo Police Seek Help in Shooting of 13-Year-Old Girl at Riverwalk

Pueblo police are asking for the public’s help as they investigate a shooting that left a 13-year-old girl seriously injured on July 14.

Officers responded around 2:50 a.m. to reports of a teenage girl with a gunshot wound in a parking lot near Lake Elizabeth.

According to Pueblo Police Department spokesperson Bianca Hicks, the girl was rushed to a local hospital in life-threatening condition.

As of July 23, Hicks said the girl “may still be in critical condition, but stable.”
