Semi-Truck Driver Arrested in Valentine for Suspected Drug-Impaired Driving

VALENTINE, Neb. — A semi-truck driver from Colorado Springs was arrested in Valentine after allegedly driving under the influence of drugs.

Christina Dodge, 40, now faces charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance and Driving Under the Influence of Drugs.

The Nebraska State Patrol reported that a trooper pulled over a black semi-truck around 11:41 p.m. on July 21 at 3rd and Cherry Streets due to missing license plates. Suspecting impairment, the trooper called in the Valentine Police K-9 unit for assistance.

The Valentine Police Department and the Cherry County Sheriff’s Office also responded to assist in the incident.
