(COLORADO SPRINGS) — Two people have been arrested in connection with an armed robbery in May where a victim was reportedly held at gunpoint during a theft at a local business.
According to the Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD), the robbery happened on May 11 at a business in the 2900 block of Galley Road. Two individuals entered the store, and one of them was armed with a handgun. During the incident, the suspect pointed the gun at a victim and moved them throughout the store.
The suspect fled with an undisclosed amount of vape products, CSPD said. After an investigation, the Robbery Unit identified the two suspects and issued arrest warrants for 25-year-old Vincent Lupori and 27-year-old Ricardo Curiel.
On July 23, officers arrested both suspects without incident. Investigators also executed search warrants at two locations and recovered evidence linked to the robbery.
