GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. — Fire crews across western Colorado are making steady progress in battling several wildfires, with improved containment numbers and lifted evacuation orders in some areas.

As of 3:00 p.m. on July 21, the current wildfire status is as follows:

  • Lifted: All private lands along Highway 141 have been released from pre-evacuation status.

    • Divide Forks Campground Evacuation Zone

  • 🟡 Pre-Evacuation Still Active:

    • Ute Creek Evacuation Zone

    • Cold Springs Evacuation Zone

Road & Travel Update:

  • Highway 141 has been fully reopened in both directions.

  • According to the Mesa County Sheriff’s Office, wildfire activity is no longer affecting travel between Grand Junction and Gateway.
