TUCSON, Ariz. (KGUN) — Monsoon moisture is set to linger in Southeast Arizona, bringing daily chances for showers and thunderstorms through Tuesday. After that, the region is expected to dry out as the weekend approaches.
Temperatures will stay slightly below average until midweek. Overnight lows on Monday will remain in the 70s across most of Pima County, with Tucson dipping to around 77 degrees. Cooler conditions are expected in Cochise County, where lows will fall into the 60s, including 68 degrees in Sierra Vista.
Monday’s daytime highs will reach the 90s in much of the region, with Tucson topping out at 96 degrees. Parts of Santa Cruz and Cochise counties will be a bit cooler, with highs expected in the 80s.
