Pueblo Police Warn of Fake UPS ‘Missed Delivery’ Text Scam

PUEBLO, Colo. — The Pueblo Police Department is warning residents about scam text messages claiming a missed UPS delivery.

On Saturday, July 19, PPD reported that people are receiving texts saying UPS tried to deliver a package but couldn’t get a required signature. The message includes a link to reschedule the delivery.

Police urge the public not to click on any links. Instead, report the message to your carrier and delete it immediately. Stay cautious and protect your personal information.
