CHOCTAW, Okla. (KOKH) — Police recovered a stolen Sportsman RV early Tuesday morning during a traffic stop in Choctaw, leading to the arrest of a suspect on several felony charges.
The stop took place around 12:20 a.m. near SE 29th Street and S. Triple X Road. Officers pulled over a truck towing the stolen RV, which had been reported missing out of Oklahoma City.
According to Choctaw Police, the driver—identified as Justin Anderson—attempted to throw a handgun out of the passenger window during the stop. Officers quickly recovered the weapon.
A subsequent search of the vehicle revealed methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.
Anderson was taken into custody without incident and booked into the Oklahoma County Detention Center. He now faces multiple charges, including:
