Missouri’s No-Call List Helps Residents Block Spam and Telemarketing Calls

If you’re tired of robocalls and telemarketers, Missouri’s No-Call list might be the solution.

The program, managed by the Missouri Attorney General’s Office, allows residents to block most unwanted sales calls to their home or cell phones. Signing up is quick, free, and easy—you can register online, by mail, or by calling 866-289-9633.

Once on the list, your number is submitted to telemarketers every three months, with the next submission set for October 1. You can also verify whether your number is already registered.

Keep in mind, some calls may still come through. Charities and businesses you have an existing relationship with are exempt from Do Not Call rules.

For Iowa and Illinois residents: While these states don’t have their own lists, you can still register your number with the National Do Not Call Registry through the Federal Trade Commission.

And remember—never share personal or financial information over the phone unless you’re sure of who’s calling.
