Pueblo Police Investigating Suspicious Death After Woman Found Dead in Home

PUEBLO, Colo. — Authorities are investigating a suspicious death after a woman’s body was discovered inside a Pueblo residence on Saturday, July 13.

Police were called around 2:16 p.m. to a home in the 400 block of West 10th Street, where officers found the deceased woman. The Crimes Against Persons Unit and Crime Scene Investigations Unit quickly joined the probe.

According to a press release from the Pueblo Police Department, the circumstances of the woman’s death “appear to be suspicious,” though it has not yet been classified as a homicide. The exact cause of death remains under investigation.
