Missouri, Illinois Dispatch Rescue Teams to Aid Texas Flood Recovery

MISSOURI & ILLINOIS – In response to the devastating floods in Texas that have claimed more than 130 lives, Missouri and Illinois have sent additional rescue teams to support emergency efforts on the ground.

Missouri’s Task Force One deployed 35 more members early this morning from St. Louis Lambert International Airport, en route to San Antonio. Once they arrive, the team will rent SUVs and a bus to reach Kerr County, one of the hardest-hit areas, where they’ll join the rest of their task force already in place.
