TUCSON, Ariz. — Southern Arizona will continue to see above-normal temperatures through Monday, with much of Pima County, including Tucson, soaring into the triple digits. Tucson is expected to reach 105 degrees, while overnight lows will remain warm — around 82 in Tucson and 71 in Sierra Vista.
Starting today, monsoon moisture is set to increase, particularly in areas east and south of Tucson. Storm chances are expected to spread across southeastern Arizona throughout the work week.
As rain and cloud cover return, daytime highs will begin to ease back to more typical levels by Tuesday. In Santa Cruz and Cochise counties, the added humidity should keep afternoon temperatures in the 90s, with Sierra Vista forecast to reach about 95 degrees.
