NORMAN, Okla. – Two people are dead and two others injured after a collision between a pickup truck and a Norman Public Schools bus on Thursday afternoon.
The crash occurred around 12:21 p.m. on Franklin Road between 84th and 108th Avenue NE, according to officials.
Investigators say the pickup truck was heading west on Franklin Road when it crossed the center line and struck the eastbound school bus.
The adult male and female in the pickup were pronounced dead at the scene.
The school bus was carrying two adults and three children. The adults were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Fortunately, the children were unharmed.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
