Quarter-to-Egg-Sized Hail Batters Parts of Colorado During Weekend Storms

DENVER (KDVR) — Colorado was pounded by severe storms on Sunday, bringing with it hail ranging from the size of a quarter to a medium-sized hen egg in several areas across the state.

While Denver mostly experienced thunder and rain, other regions—particularly in El Paso County—were slammed with large hail, and a tornado was confirmed in Morgan County, about 13 miles east of Fort Morgan.
